Just trying to get a feel for how the comic is going to look. I think I'm pretty much good enough to make a start soon, I just have to finnish polishing up the script.
In this scene Trevor faces off against a Catbot on the Monkeyshine. This doesn't actualy happen in the comic. Still it was pretty fun to draw.
I really like the gun shot that he dodges in the third panel. It's easy to follow and well drawn.
My crit. I'd say try to make it a bit smaller. It took a while for me to finish loading the picture, and my connection is really fast. Also consider useing the line tool in photoshop for the lineing of everything too make everything look alot smoother. Other than that, very nice!
The background looks rather sloppy in places (esp. the first panel) and I don't know what the lines in that duct are (Not the wires, the other lines. Though I'm not too sure what those wires are connected too, either).
On the 5th and 7th panels, the glow on the gun is "cut out", and looks kinda odd.
Only real thing I can see wrong with it is Trevor's body language in the last panel. Doesn't seem to be too much into the swing; if he's knocking the robot's head off, he should probably be putting a little more gusto into the stroke.
Though the Trevor's throwing stance seems a bit weird. Not sure how though...

Looks like the gradients make for a large PNG fille. Whoops.
While the line tool can give some really nice clean lineart, I don't think I'll be using it too much in the comic. It's far too time consuming and I prefer the rough look that I get from drawing the characters with my brush pens. That said, I will probably be using the line tool for backgrounds, especially simple, angular ones like this one.

Hit a man with a brick and you can have all his fish... and his wife.
I should have used the line tool. I will in future. The wires where kind of an after thought. I wish I hadn't bothered now. They got in the way like hell when I was colouring.
Heh, I didn't notice the glows being cut off, whoops.

Maybe I should have made him throw it overarm, rather than under.
